ICMF - International chamber music festival in Stavanger, august. Link.
NuMusic - Scandinavia’s leading club festival dedicated to the advancement of new, alternative & electronic music. A diverse range of independent artists are showcased through concerts and happenings. Link.
Nuart - one of Europe's foremost annual urban arts events, it takes place in multiple venues as well as the city streets. The main focus being on a single non commercial static show where most works are usually produced directly on the walls of the venue and "buffed" after the show. Link.

Transplant - the resource centre for design, in the village of Dale, offers great food from the restaurant and a bar every saturday and sunday this summer (2009). The place also hosts workshops and events linked to design and artistic innovative development all year round. TRANSPLANT SESSIONS is a monthly music and visual event taking place in the
250m2 exhibition space initialized in Spring 09. The sessions provide a
performing platform for new electronic music and visual talent from
Nordic countries, or following a Nordic theme. Highlights from each
session will be recorded and transmitted through the internet, while
the live events will be open to the public to attend.
